Special places v. Clean energy
A recent article in the New York Times as triggered my interested. The conflict between environmental conservationists, like locals who want to save the pristine and natural environment, and fellow environmentalist who are in favour of erecting dozens and dozens of solar panels in order to combat climate change. The problems is environmentalists should be pro saving special places as well as developing and utilizing clean energy. Both of these issues are and the root of environmental and green movements. Who should win this battle? Should the natural environment be spared or should the desire for clean energy overrule? I think that the answer will vary case by case. The best way to go about solving this problem would be to make sure that the location of the project is the best place for it. This question should be answered - are there other places that would be more practical and less invasive? . Project managers and inventors should also decided if there is a way that the clean energy technologies can be implemented in a way that is not visually offensive. In the end, both sides of the environmental group need to join forces and decided which is more important. The happy medium needs be be found for both parties.
